Laying on Solid Wood Sub-Floor
When laying, the fluctuations of the wood as a result of swelling and shrinkage must be taken into account. The timber building materials must be vibration-free, loadbearing and pest-free. A min. 8 mm wide joint to rising components is adopted congruently into the pavement. The thickness of the wood chipboard must be at least 25 mm on the floor. In all applications, an adhesive foundation must be applied to protect the substrate. On wood chipboard constructions, we recommend highly deformable adhesive mortar systems. Depending on the design structure, the use of decoupling systems is also recommended.
