Laying on Existing Ceramic Flooring With New Thin Underfloor Heating
In an old building, a new thin-layer underfloor heating with screed is to be laid on a existing ceramic covering. The old pavement has sufficient load-bearing capacity and adhesion to the subsoil. The stresses resulting from the thermal load on the structure are absorbed by the decoupling mat. As a result, no stresses are transferred to the ceramic covering. The mat also supports heat transport.
