Rosamond Gifford Zoo
Syracuse, New York, USA

Project Details

Location
Syracuse, New York, USA
Project Year
2013

The install at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo was to imitate the coat of a Bengal Tiger. The custom design was digitally mapped out and transferred onto the porous asphalt base. The 3,000 square feet entry way into the zoo is permeable and any rain water will pass through the surface and recharge the ground water. This eliminates water runoff into the local storm drain system. Beautiful custom design!
