Project Details

Location
NYC, NY
Project Year
2021

In 2012, Ted Moudis Associates teamed up with the NFL to create a new headquarters for the organization at 345 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.

DeepStream Designs is proud to have furnished over 800’ linear feet of cost-effective, low-maintenance recycled plastic lumber modular planters with marine-anodized structural aluminum frames and liners with advanced drainage to line the parapet wall of this Iconic building's pedestal wrap around roof terrace.

Easy to maintain planters with automatic drip irrigation create a calming green space amid the urban chaos for staff meeting, private phone calls, staff lunch, and entertaining. The anodized aluminum frame system means that there is no paint or powder coating to fail in jsut a few years, or fiberglass to crack.

DeepStream’s unique liner-within-a-planter-box design allows for hidden irrigation lines, drainage, and wiring. This design and construction method provides ideal easy-care landscaping by protecting the root system from solar gain steaming the root ball.

There is no possibility of structural damage to the building because no deck penetrations are required. The planter system is backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty and damaged parts may be replaced at factory-direct cost with DeepStream’s unique Core Replacement Program.

The aluminum frame and modular planters allowed for rapid assembly on the roof deck by unskilled labor in midtown Manhattan without requiring a crane, traffic disruptions, or permits. These planters are self-ballasted and raised for easy deck access and can be moved or reconfigured should work need to be performed on the roof membrane below the pavers.

Our unique family of proprietary trademark aluminum extrusions creates a modular frame system that provides custom solutions without the custom cost and there is never a design fee. There are no salespeople or distributors between your operational issues and solutions to the unique challenges your project entails. This approach means there is always accountability on our part and no communication errors or confusion to slow down your project or add unnecessary cost.
