These EarthPlanter’s were planted throughout campus using a variety of “fall color” foliage plants, so that when the fall semester began (Aug 27th) we would already look “fall like”. The featured plant in the center of each planter is an “Amber Jubilee” Ninebark – which is actually a shrub… so that when the planters are brought in at the end of the growing season, the Ninebark plants can be taken out & re-planted in a landscape bed somewhere on campus.
