ACS-NBC Universal Creative required a large-dark fabric structure to ease the sunlight exposure while bus tour patrons exit the indoor King Kong 360 3-D Attraction on the Universal Studios Hollywood lot. Eide Industries, Inc. capabilities and reputation to fulfill large challenges attracted Universal Studios Management. Eide designed, fabricated and installed a freestanding polygonal Weather Protector Canopy measuring 43’ Wide x 58’ Projection x 16’-6” Clearance Height, covered with Serge Ferrari 502 Black Fabric.

The freestanding canopy could not attach to the existing Stage 51 Building, and required enough coverage area and clearance height for the Universal Studios Tour Bus to safely maneuver under. Eide Industries, Inc. successfully fabricated and installed the Weather Protector meeting the required ACS-NBC Universal Creative time schedules.
