The Hangout Music Festival has been taking place in Gulf Shores, Alabama, for half a decade. As the festival continues to grow in popularity and size, the owner wanted to provide a functional workspace with a minimalist feel for his staff. The entire top floor of an old hotel was completely gutted to allow for the Commercial Topping pour. The old hollow core plank was damaged in areas, thus requiring localized deep fill pre-pour work. Once dry, Commercial Topping was poured to an average 1” depth. Thermal-Chem DecoColor white epoxy and urethane were installed to compliment white exposed ducts and walls, achieving a modern, minimalist feel for the space.
