What makes this project unique besides the awesome design of the surfacing? This 9,240SF playground was installed over bedrock in Centerville, Virginia. This unforeseen condition on the project required some unique approaches to the playground equipment and surfacing designs. The bedrock was encountered approximately 12” below the finished grade surface which required a custom drainage system for the playground surfacing and modifications to all of the playground equipment footings. Titus Surfacing designed and built the custom drainage system to ensure proper drainage and longevity of the surfacing.
