This site had several design needs. The road above needed to be widened and the site below needed access. Both walls required live traffic loads and heights in excess of 25 feet tall. As depth of structure was a primary design guideline GravityStone Modular was selected as the system solution as the depth required for an MSE (geogrid) wall was too great and would have undermined the road above. GravityStone Modular structures are great solution when the depth of a structure needs to be minimized.
